World Women Leading Change and the Bahrain Businesswomen's Society signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Manama, formalising a cooperation protocol between the two organisations. The signing was attended by Prof. Dr. Ayla Aldjufrie, founder and world president of World Women Leading Change, Ahlam Janahi, president of the Bahrain Businesswomen's Society, and Alia Fitrati, representing the Indonesian embassy in Manama.
The agreement sets out shared goals around women's economic empowerment, including entrepreneurship training, mentorship exchange and support for small and medium-sized enterprises. It is intended to widen international business networks and encourage greater participation by women in trade and investment.
World Women Leading Change operates in more than 60 countries. The Bahrain partnership is one of a series of regional agreements the organisation has pursued to connect emerging markets, including bridging ties between Indonesia and the Gulf.
